The field trial of "Li Bai Nong" rice specific organic water-soluble fertilizer, jointly conducted by Shandong Aikang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Huainan Agricultural Commission, and Huainan Fengkang Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd., has recently announced its results. The experiment was conducted in Huainan, Anhui Province from May 20 to October 30, 2023, with the high-quality rice variety "Xuanjing Nuo 7" as the research object, to verify the yield increasing effect of organic water-soluble fertilizer during the initial panicle stage of rice, providing a new solution for green and efficient planting technology.
Experimental data shows that spraying "Libainong" organic water-soluble fertilizer can significantly improve rice yield and stress resistance. After applying at a concentration of 200 grams per acre (20 kilograms of water) during the initial panicle stage, the theoretical yield of rice increased by 18%, and the actual yield increased by 18.7%, setting a new regional experimental record. Research has shown that fertilizers can achieve yield breakthroughs by increasing the rate of ineffective tillering, panicle formation, thousand grain weight, and seed setting rate. At the same time, they exhibit a synergistic effect of strengthening stems and resisting lodging, providing a dual guarantee for stable and increased income.
The project team leader stated that this is the first systematic verification in the northern Anhui region of the effect of organic water-soluble fertilizers on improving the quality and increasing the yield of glutinous rice. Experiments have shown that the scientific application of this fertilizer can optimize the population structure of rice, promote the transfer of photosynthetic products to grains, especially in the rainy climate of Jianghuai. Its characteristic of enhancing stem strength can effectively reduce lodging risk. At present, the comparative data of different application periods and doses have laid the foundation for subsequent optimization plans.
Huainan Fengkang ecological agriculture technology experts pointed out that this experiment has verified the technical feasibility of "light and simple application, one-time effectiveness". According to the recommended plan, farmers only need to apply fertilizer once per acre to achieve a dual improvement in yield and quality, and the comprehensive planting efficiency is expected to increase by more than 15%, which is in line with the demand for cost saving and efficiency improvement in modern agriculture.
Shandong Aikang Biotechnology revealed that the next step is to collaborate with research institutions to expand the scope of trials, accurately identify the optimal application window period and dosage ratio, and plan to carry out large-scale demonstration and promotion in the rice growing areas of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The application of this technology is expected to open up new paths for green and high-yield cultivation of rice, and assist in the construction of "ton grain fields" and food security strategies.
